San Francisco and Napa Valley Recap
As you all know for my Spring Break I headed to San Francisco and Napa Valley for a little R&R. In San Francisco, I stayed at the Ritz Carlton which is located on Nob Hill right by Chinatown. In San Fran, first order of business was to visit the Oscar De La Renta exhibition at the De Young Museum which was incredible by the way. Afterwards, I went to the science museum at Golden Gate Park. For the rest of the time I was in San Francisco I shopped and ate amazing food, like seriously who doesn't go to San Francisco and shop and eat until you're in a coma. Also, we took a little day trip to Sausalito and ate lunch and looked at the quaint little shops.
After a few days in San Fran, we headed to Napa Valley. In Napa I stayed at Callistoga Ranch which is a gorgeous Auberge Resort that is nestled in stunning lush green mountains and it has a beautiful little lake. Honestly, the natural beauty in Napa is incredible, it's perfection. While there, I chilled by the pool, hiked a treacherous mountain (as seen on snapchat), visited Old Faithful Geyser, beautiful wineries, ate at amazing restaurants, and shopped in St. Helena. Some of the prettiest wineries were Castello di Amorosa, Opus One Winery, Sterling Winery, B Cellars and Far Niente. Each and every one was so unique and special in their own way. In Napa there are sub-towns, and my favorite downtown was St. Helena because it was so rustic and absolutely adorable. The first night, we ate at Auberge Du Soleil which is a Michelin star restaurant and the meal was fabulous, the ambience and the food were perfection. For Easter, we had a lovely little brunch at Callistoga Ranch, it was so peaceful and the spread was delicious. Afterwards, we took a little hike, actually it wasn't so little it was extremely long and very zig-zagy. Then, at night we went to a cute little restaurant called Farmstead because it's a farm to table style restaurant. After a week filled with laughter, joy, and fun it was time to head back to SD. Overall, it was an amazing and memorable vacation!
