Here are some of my favorite workouts and my workout schedule:
Monday: Heated Power Sculpt- It's a high energy workout class that incorporates lots of burpees, squats, push-ups, boxing, etc. It helps to tone up, build strength and endurance. Power Sculpt is one of my favorite classes and makes me feel vibrant and alive, plus the music is always great! I personally take this class at Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa with the amazing Anna Spalding, check out her new yoga studio, Evolve Yoga Fit next to Whole Foods on the 101 in Encinitas, California.m

Tuesday: Reformer Pilates- The class that I go to at my gym uses the reformer apparatus which helps to build strength, flexibility, and stamina all while working the abdominal muscles, leg muscles, and back.

Wednesday: Brazil Butt Lift- I know...I know...I may seem crazy, but the Brazil Butt Lift program actually works. I myself wasn't a believer until I tried it and now I use it every once in a while and love it! It mixes cardio, Brazilian dancing, abdominal workouts, butt workouts, and legs all into a 60 minute power workout session. The best part is that you don't even have to leave your house, because it can be done in your room while watching the instructor on your tv or electronic device! Isn't that awesome?!

Thursday: Barre Class- I am a huge fan of barre class, I love Studio Barre in Carmel Valley and enjoy taking classes from Brooke Tigh (the owner).  Barre class is a  hard workout, but you don't sweat all over the place which is great. It's a super fun and energetic class that burns fat and tones your body up all in 60 minutes. The class is designed to reshape and sculpt your body while having fun and feeling like a dancer.

Friday: Cardio- Oh how I love cardio day...NOT! I have an extreme aversion to running but there are so many other ways to get your cardio fix in without having to step on a treadmill. Here are some of my cardio day favorites:

Stairs: If your home or apartment building has access to stairs, take advantage of them! Stairs are a great way to exercise your heart and lungs, while strengthening your lower body. You can do intervals of running, hopping, lunging, or even squatting.
Squat jumps: Squat jumps will definitely give you a cardio fix and a burn in your quads. Two sets of 20 reps is all you need.
Jumping Jacks: Jumping jacks are a great way to get your cardio fix, they raise your heart rate and help you to burn some quick calories.
High Knees: A.k.a running in place. Try doing them across the floor of your living room or bedroom or even try doing high knees in a plank position for a full-body workout (mountain climbers).
Burpees: The burpee is one of my favorites. It's a great move that gets your heart pounding and works your arms, legs, and core.
Dancing: It's almost too fun to be considered a workout, but dancing is a great way to work up a sweat and burn a lot of calories.

Saturday: Bar Sculpt- It's kind of like the Barre Class I mentioned for my Thursday workout except it has a bit more Yoga incorporated and isn't as hard as the other Barre Class. It's still a great workout and helps to tone muscles and help build strength.

Sunday: The day of rest- Sunday is typically my day of rest because HAHA BECAUSE IT WAS GOD'S TOO! πŸ˜‚  If I'm feeling up to it I will sometimes do a Yoga Flow class or go for a hike or a walk just to get active, but Sunday for me is my rest day.

Now that you have a cute outfit and some workout ideas it's time to push those bodies into full gear and head into 2016 with a whole new mindset to become a stronger, healthier, and better version of you!

New York, London, and Milan Fashion Week Recap

NYFW, LFW, MFW, and PFW were all a huge success! Spring/ Summer 2016 collections are looking hot all around the globe! Some of the seasons hottest color hues are powder blue, blush pink, persimmon, periwinkle, cobalt blue, coral, indigo, and taupe. A lot of the New York collections had more of a laid-back street style feel,  whereas London was a bit more dressy. At LFW, many collections were heavily inspired by the Victorian era and frills, lace, and high collars and neck-lines were a huge trend. Last season we saw a lot of that coming out of London fashion week, but this season the designers stepped it up a bit. Print blocking was huge all around the globe! Designers used bright hues and vibrant prints to created electrified looks for the springtime. For some of the more conservative looks designers like Amanda Wakeley tied dresses with a simplistic bow around the waist. A cold shoulder and netting were also really big trends in both New York and London. One of my favorite LFW shows was Burberry because every season they are amazing, but especially this show was fantastic and had great pieces and had an wonderful ambiance. New York and London hit off "Fashion Month" with a bang and displayed vivid floral patterns, bright shades of color, and awesome clothing trends. Milan had a tough act to follow but pulled through and displayed compelling color combos and linear patterns in some of the biggest shows such as: Missoni, Prada, and Salvatore Ferragamo. One of my favorite Milan shows was Roberto Cavalli...it was elegant, simple, chic, and just absolutely stunning! The simple chiffon blouses and edgy evening dresses were awesome! In Paris, there were some spectacular shows...Dior blew me away with their elegance and creativity to create a beautiful venue made out of little purple flowers. Also, each look was beautiful. Chanel also amazed with one of their cleverly themed shows. They made their venue like an airport and their collection was stunning!

Spring/Summer 2016 is looking good...can't wait for this to hit the stores!

My New York Fashion Week Experiences

Hello Fashionistas! I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever, I've just been busy settling back into high school and adjusting to sophomore year. Last Thursday I set off for NYFW, it had been my dream ever since I was little to sit front row at a fashion show at fashion week. After years of dreaming, my mother finally took me! We went to Yigal AzrouΓ«l and Nicole Miller. We were also invited to Diane Von Furstenburg and Givenchy but unfortunately never had time to see those shows. On Friday, my mom and I saw Yigal at The Dock at Moynihan Station which is kinda the new Lincholn Center. It's a really retro space that holds a lot of the fashion shows. Yigal AzrouΓ«l had a stunning collection that show-cased elegance with an edge which is how I describe my personal style! Every piece was feminine and romantic with a touch of minimalism. I especially loved the delicate lace, embroidery, and abstract prints. The ambiance and music at the show contrasted well with the theme of the collection. It truly brought the looks to life. The hair was done in a simple low pony which didn't serve as a distraction to the look. After the show, I was fortunate enough to have met Yigal himself backstage and see all the behind the scenes madness. He was so friendly and humble in spite of being so extremely talented. I can't wait for this collection to hit the stores! In between shows I enjoyed shopping on Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue. Also, I can never resist a box of lovely macarons at Laduree on Madison Avenue (They are probably my favorite dessert in the world and they make me feel like Marie AntoinetteπŸ˜‚). Later on in the afternoon I was fortunate enough to have gone to Nicole Miller and sit in the front row! Nicole Miller's collection was inspired by the contrasts of New York streets and they highlighted the grit and the beauty of the so called "concrete jungle". I loved how she made the looks super girly yet funky. Each model had spunky hair that was half dreadlocks and half straight. The models also wore an intense smoky eye look that made each ensemble look even more punk. The music was also upbeat which made the show rock. After the show I was also lucky to have met Nicole Miller who was a very quiet and low-key woman who you wouldn't have known was a designer unless you met her and spoke to her. Also, I met Chloe Lusiak from Dance Moms and Countess LuAnn De Lesspes and Kristen Taekman from the Real Housewives of New York. They were both very friendly and I snapped a picture with them. Backstage the Countess even sang "The Girl Code" to me! HAHA! On the Saturday, I toured New York University which is my dream college and went to the U.S. Open Women's final where I saw two unknown Italians play against each other. Even though they weren't highly ranked, they put a fight up to win the match. On Saturday night, I went to see "Fun Home" which is a Broadway Musical. I love the arts and theater, and was throughly dissatisfied and disappointed with the show. I had heard rave reviews and was so excited, but was let down at the lack of talent and the sad story line. All in all New York is an amazing city that never ceases to amaze me! Stay tuned for my favorite shows and a review of all NYFW shows.

My Summer vacation recap: London, Johannesburg, Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini

Hello fashionistas! I'm back in the USA and I'm  going to give you a little recap of my summer holiday escapades. First off, London! Ahhhh good ole London Town...it's so beautiful there and its one of my favorite cities besides New York and Paris. I was in London for five days and it was an amazing time. My family and I stayed at the Four Seasons Park Lane which is a fabulous hotel right in the heart of London. From the hotel everything is pretty close because of the hotels central location. One of my favorite things to do is hop on a "London City Sightseeing Bus" because you can see all the sights in under two hours. I know...I know...it sounds pretty touristy, but it is the cheapest and best way to get around the city. You can also hop on and off the bus at each stop. When it comes to shopping visiting Harrods, Hamleys, Selfridges, and Harvey Nichols are the best department stores. Some of the best shopping streets and areas are Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Bond Street, Piccadilly Circus, Barnes High Street, Covent Gardens, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, and many more. I came to London at the right time because I hit all the sales such as Allsaints, Topshop, Zara, Harrods, and more. When in London it's nice being a tourist, but I also love going to places the locals go to. For instance, this little farmers market in downtown London was so cool and had the freshest fruit and vegetables I have ever seen. Everyone was so relaxed and was eating delicous fresh sandwiches and pressed juices. Ten minutes awaits from the farmers market was the Tower of London. After 15 years of visiting London annually I finally forced myself to see it and I'm glad I did. As for dining we went to a few great resturants. On Father's Day my family and I went to CUT by Wolfgang Puck which is in the Dorchester Hotel. It was delicious and the quality of the meat was excellent. For my mom's birthday we went and saw Les Miserables and it was OUTSTANDING!! The sets, the costumes, the acting, the singing, everything was flawless. After the show we went for tapas to Amaranto at the Four Seasons Hotel in Park Lane. The food is excellent at Amaranto and I ate breakfast there every morning. Side note: personally I think food in Europe is better than America not only is it heathlier, but also you can taste the freshness and you can tell it's truly organic. Noura is an amazing Lebanse resturant in Belgravai (there is also one in Paris). It has excellent food and is very vibrant. London was so much fun and I hope to go back very soon!

Next up on the itinerary was my hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa! I was in Johannesburg for two weeks catching up with family and friends. I also enjoyed going to a monkey and elephant sanctuary. My 15th birthday was spent in Joburg and it was awesome (check out birthday weekend blog). Jozi was a great time and I wish to go back in March for my cousin's wedding!

After Johannesburg we went to Greece for 7 days. It was short and sweet but a lot of fun! First we went to Athens for a one night and stayed at the King George Hotel in Syntagma Square where we enjoyed going on the "Athens City Sightseeing Tour Bus" and going to the Acropolis. For lunch we had an amazing gastromic meal at the Tudor Hall on the 7th floor at the King George Hotel and for dinner we went to a local fish resturant called Papadakis in Kolonaki. Then we were off to Mykonos where my family and I stayed at the Kivotos Hotel in Ornos Bay. It was breathtakingly beautiful there and I wish I was there righ now...having a little post holiday depression! πŸ˜‚ Mykonos is known as the "party island" but doesn't get much praise about its beauty which is upsetting. One day we went on the hotel's private vintage yacht and sailed to all the beautiful bays and beaches. Also, exploring the main village was fun and I enjoyed shopping and buying local jewelry and handmade Grecian sandals. For dinner went to Una Con Carne which is a steakhouse with a live dj, sushi lounge, and dance floor. It was an incredible resturant and was so vibrant and energetic. Typically places with dance floors and djs don't have great food, but this place was an exception to that pre notion. I LOVED THE FOOD! The last night in Mykonos was more laid-back and we went to a delicous souvlaki place and just exlpored the night-life of the village. In Santorini we stayed at the Vedema Resort & Spa which was stunning. While in Santorini we took a private tour of the island, explored Oia and FirΓ‘, went to black beach, and walked and shopped in the local village by the resort. For dinner on the first night we went to Apiron for some quality Greek food. The second night was spent at the one Michelin star resturant Koukoumavlos where we enjoyed typical Mediterranean cuisine with a gastromic twist. It was gorgeous on both islands and I hope to go back sometime in the near future. On the way back we went to Athens for another night and stayed at the King George again we arrived late afternoon and went to dinner at ten o'clock at Varoulko in Pirraeus where we dined on the incredible five course chef'so tasting menu.

Overall, this vacation was fantastic and I am so blessed to have gone to Europe and Africa! See more awesome pictures on Instagram @poshtalkwithpascale !

MY BIRTHDAY AND FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEMD RECAP! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŽ‰β€οΈπŸŽˆ

Hey fashionistas! If can't already tell my the title its the best weekend of the entire year (besides Christmas😜) hahah just kidding! But honestly July 4th is a pretty important day in America's history. I'm not going to give you a history lesson, but I am going to give you a little recap of my birthday festivities! Fun factoid I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on July 4, 2000!

First off, on Saturday (July 4th) I went to Sandton City which is a 15,000,000 square feet shopping mall here in Johannesburg, South Africa.  It's the largest mall in the Southern Hemisphere, pretty much every single brand you can think of is inside the mall. My family and I went to Sandton City at about 11:00 and went to Topshop, Zara, Woolworths, Hackett, etc. I got a few goodies and then went to lunch at this adorable Italian cafe called Doppio Zero which means double zero in Italian. We munched on tapas, sipped some drinks, and  all shared a few laughs. After lunch, we went to the movies and saw "Spy" with Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, Jason Statham, and Rose Byrne. It was absouletly hilarious!!! I could not stop laughing and it the funniest movie I have seen this year. For dinner we went to Pigalle's in Nelson Mandela Square. My immediate and extended family came and enjoyed the delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and wonderful company. It was an amazing evening! I can truly say that this was a great birthday even though I didn't do my traditional party at the country club with fireworks and dancing.

On Sunday (July 5th), I woke up and went to mass bright and early with my family. Afterwards, my mom and dad took me to Andiccio's for coffee. It was nice to have some alone time with them seeing as how I have to share them with my three other siblings. When we were done we headed back to my Siti's (grandma in Arabic) house to make some golf themed flower arrangements for my Uncle's birthday. It was fun to get down and dirty and make some impressive center pieces. After couple flower arrangements we got bored and decided to go back to Sandton City to spend some gift cards and birthday cash. My parents took me to Louis Vuitton and bought me a scarf/head wrap. I have wanted one for the longest time because they looks so European and classic. It reminds me of Grace Kelly and Seerena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively) from "Gossip Girl". The scarves are very versatile because they can be used as a headband, head wrap, ribbon, braid for hair, tie for a handbag, or even used as a ponytail elastic. How cool is that?! After we shopped 'til we dropped we decided to go to the San Deck at the Sandton Sun Hotel where we met up with some more family for some snacks. I nibbled on some olives and sipped a incredible "Virgin Alice and 5th cocktail". It consisted of ginger beer, lemonade, crushed ice, and a ton of other exotic flavors. The view from the San Deck was spectacular and you could see all the surrounding sky scrapers and buildings.

Overall my birthday weekend was a memorable one filled with lots of love, happiness, celebration, and joy! Thank you to my incredible family and friends for making it extra special.

Elisabetta Franchi

Hey girls! Sorry I haven't blogged in a couple weeks, I've been traveling. I went to London for a few days, now I'm in South Africa for two weeks, and then I'm off to Greece! As you can probably see on Instagram I've been doing some awesome things such as shopping, hanging out with monkeys and elephants, and much more!  FIY it's my birthday tomorrow (July 4th)!!! Woooohooooo!

This morning I woke up and turned on Fashion TV. As I was watching they were showing the summer's best campaigns such as Mui Mui, Michael Kors, Prada, Ellie Saab, etc. There was this other designer I had never heard of called Elisabetta Franchi. I was mesmerized by the quality and beauty of the dresses shown and the a gorgeous handbags. I decide to google her website so I could get a closer look at her designs. Unfortunately, her website is only in Italian and only ships to Italy. πŸ˜₯ What a bummer! Luckily, when I was little I took Italian lessons and they paid off because I can still remember a few clothing words. πŸ˜‚

I especially loved her dresses. They were absolutely stunning! Versatility is displayed in the style of ther dresses. Also, Elisabetta has beautiful tops that can be dressed up or down. That's the beauty of this designer her collections are great for a woman on the go, because they are easy to wear and look breathtaking. Check out her website www.shop.elisabettafranchi.com !     Father's Day is approaching quickly and this is the ultimate gift guide for every personality that won't break the bank. Download the app Retail Me Not for the best online and in-store coupons for your dad's favorite stores. Over the weekend I went shopping and bought my dad a couple of Lacoste shirts and polos and a Louis Vuiton reversible leather monogram belt.

For the golfing dad the best thing to do is to go to either Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, or Sports Authority. At Ralph Lauren, they have great options for a golfer such as 2015 U.S Open Chambers Bay Collection or even their regular RLX Golf line. A great gift would be an outfit set like the "Slim-fit Lightweight Polo" paired with a "Cypress short" or "Cypress pant". As finishing touches a "Fitted Mesh-Pannel Hat" or a "Golf Club Headcover" are great options to please your golfing dad. Sports Authority has incredible deals right now!!! Maybe even get your dad some golf clubs or accessories to improve his golf game.

For the tennis player the best brands are Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, and Lululemon. According to the Reatail Me Not App Lacoste has a lot of savings options so you can get your dad the best gift out there. For the tennis ace the "Roland Garros Rene Crewnect T-shirt" paired with the "Taffeta Stretch Short" and "Men's light LT12 sneaker" make for a great outfit on the court that is sure to impress. At Lululemon, the "Surge Short Sleeve" and "T.H.E. Short" are a great and simple gift.

For the runner Nike and Lululemon have great options for awesome and athletic gifts. Nike always has deals and coupon codes on Retail Me Not. The "Nike Dri-Fit Cool Tailwind Crew" and "Nike 8" Flex Shorts" make for a speedy quick outfit. Another option is the "Nike BeTrue shirt" in whatever city he is from paired with "Nike 7" Phenom 2-in-1 shorts" that way he can get the best of both.

For the fashion forward dad Nordstom and Nieman Marcus are the most Γ‘ la mode and contemporary places. At Nordstom the best brands for dress clothing are Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, and David Donahue. It would nice to get him a dress shirt with a matching tie or pocket square for work or a night out. Burberry, Canali, and Ermengildo Zegna are some of my personal favorite tie brands for men. A great option for gifting is "The Tie Bar Large Style Box" that comes with 3-6 ties that is a Nordstrom exclusive and is only $99! How clever is that?!

For the preppy dad Ralph Lauren and Vineyard Vines are the places to go so he can get his prep on. At Ralph Lauren I love the create your own polos because they are reasonably priced and add a personal touch to any gift. For your dapper dad Vineyard Vines has great polos and gingham shirts for the summer. Also right now you can get a free gift for your dad with a purchase of $300 or more.

Hopefully you now have an ideas of what to get your fantastic father on this special day because he deserves it!

The Summer's Hottest Beachwear πŸ’¦πŸ‘™

Hello fashionistas and beach babes! Its me Pasacle here to share with you the hottest beachwear of the Summer! I'm going to share with you my personal favorite smoldering bikins, sexy sandals, practical beach totes, hot cover-ups, and useful beach blankets/towels.

For swimwear my favorite brands/stores are Victoria's Secret, Triangl Swimwear, and Diane's Beachwear. This season it is huge trend to have neoprene swimsuits, and many brands have imitated Triganl Swimwear's signature neoprene style. From Victoria's Secret, my favorite bikini is the "Beach Sexy Flirt Bandeau" paired with the "The Colorblock Itsy Bottom". There are four vibrant colorblock patterns to chose from and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! From Triangl, I love the "Poppy Peach Soda Bikini" it is so gorgeous and it so useful for water sports. Diane's Beachwear has so much to offer from bikinis to cover-ups to accessories. There are so many combinations it's hard for me to find a favorite to share with you. πŸ˜‚ Anyway, now you have three amazing brands that you can source the perfect swimsuit from.

For those sexy sandals and flip-flops I love to go to the Nordstrom or Nieman Marcus shoe department. I could honestly spend hours upon hours shopping in the show department at any stores! Some of my favorite brands for sandals and flip-flops are Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Steve Madden, Valentino, and Havaianas. This season, the "Valentino Rockstud Thong Sanadal" is a must buy! They are FAB and come in stunning colors. Gladiator sandals are very "in" right now! They are great to wear to the beach and throw on for lunch after a long day in the sun. Another classic is the "Tory Burch Miller Sandal" it so so effortless and always looks elegant even when going to the beach.

Totes...totes...totes...where to begin. It is so hard to find them perfect sized tote/beach bag. They are either too big or too small, there is no happy medium. For small totes, I love the "Tri-Coastal Seahorse Beach Tote" from Nordstrom and their "Tri-Coastal Pineapple Print Tote" . For medium and large totes Tory Burch is the place to go, they have affordable and practical totes that you are going to appreciate. Nordstom has a brand called Cathy's Concepts that has adorable personalized totes that are cheap. Now you can stuff as much junk into one not burdensome bag.

When it comes to cover-ups I love to wear rompers and tunics. Also, a simple shirt and shorts are always nice too. Diane's Beachwear has a wide range of cover ups that are easy and won't break the bank. At Nieman Marcus, there is a heavenly beach goddess-esque dress from PillyQ called the "Serena Embroidered-Trim Coverup Dress". It is beautiful! Tory Burch is also an awesome place for cover-ups. Their tunics are divine!

Now that you're set with an awesome outfit for the beach you're going to need something to lie on so you can sun tan and bronze. John Robshaw, Trina Turk, Johnathan Adler, and Ralph Lauren have funky towels that will brighten your day. Also, Sand Cloud makes awesome beach blankets with pillows attached! How clever is that?!

Hopefully all you lovely ladies are ready for your next beach day and don't forfet to wear some sunscreen (I ❀️ Sun Bum suncreen)!

Love you lots! 😘

WELCOME!

Hey guys! I'm so happy to announce that I have started a blog!!! This has been a long time coming and finally I got off my butt and created this. As some of you know I am a student-journalist and have two columns/articles in two local magazines in my area. I specialize in fashion and travel, but this blog is a lifestyle blog, so I will be blogging about everything from fashion to travel to make-up to hair to food to beverages. I guess you could say it's a little hodge podge of everything.  So please stay tuned for more posts. I will try to blog weekly sometimes a few times a week just depending on my crazy schedule. Thank you for your support and love you all!
